Happy New Year!

During the month of December, I decluttered by putting at least one object a day into my donation pile. (I also gave some items away via my buy nothing group and did a mid-month donation drop-off.)

I really loved this system. I think the ease (just one thing a day) made it easy for me to create momentum and keep going. I notice I’m having fun looking for things I’m ready to let go of (esp things other people can use!)

I’ve decided I’m going to see how long I can keep this going. I will stop when it feels appropriate (which means I’ve chosen to keep everything I own, right?). I’m interested to see how long that will be!

If you’d like to join me, it doesn’t matter what day of the year you read this, get started by setting up a donation station (box, bag, etc in a good spot in your place) and putting one thing in it today.
